Restlet – Customer Credit Card Tokenization

After moving our CC data to tokenized version that had the benefits of auto-updating and not storing on our system, we needed to securely capture customer credit card data in an external Salesforce portal, use a 3rd-party CC solution to tokenize the data, and send that record to Netsuite to validate with the 3rd-party CC solution and put on the customer record to be used in future payment processes. The solution involved designing a restlet to capture that data, create the token, and store on the customer record and ensured that tokenized CC worked across the whole system.
